Try This 7 Step Anti-Aging At Home Facial

Facials can be expensive and time consuming, but even still, they’re really important for skin maintenance. Facials allow you to relax, they increase circulation of blood under the skin, and they allow for skin cell renewal. Facials also decrease waste underneath the skin which reduces puffiness and fluid accumulation by working with the lymphatic system. Anti-aging facials prevent premature aging, wrinkles, and sagging skin. If getting regular facials seems a bit luxurious, why not consider this anti-aging at home mini facial. Dedicate some time each week to relax and treat yourself and your skin.

1. Use a natural product like coconut oil to remove makeup, especially eye makeup.

2. Wash the face with a gentle cleanser and take the time to massage the product into your skin. Use long, deep strokes. Use a firm stroke between the brows. Massage along the jaw bone. You may want to even double cleanse.

3. Use a gentle exfoliation scrub. Again, massaging it into the skin. Avoid the sensitive, thinner skin around the eyes. Add a bit of water if the scrub gets dry. Once you’re done applying the scrub, sponge it off.

4. Apply a mask made with natural ingredients and free from harsh chemicals. Make sure to wash the mask off gently with warm water before applying any other skincare products. Try this DIY nourishing avocado mask.

5. Apply an eye cream that diminishes bags under eyes or dark circles. Try a natural product made with caffeine and cucumber extract. Zax's Original Dark Circle Eye Cream will do the trick!

6. If you have age spots, consider a natural product made with aloe and licorice extract, both of which are natural alternatives to harmful chemicals such as hydroquinone. Try our Zax's Original Darkspot Cream to lighten and brighten your skin.

7. Apply a moisturizer or hydrating serum. Consider using a facial roller or gua sha stone a few times a week to help improve overall health and well being while helping your skin absorb these topical creams, lotions, and serums.
