DIY Avocado Mask
With a few simple ingredients found in your kitchen, you can make a nourishing face mask that your skin will love. The healthy fats and vitamin E found in avocados are extremely moisturizing and is great for smoothing your skin. Adding a touch of honey and lemon juice provides antioxidants and antibacterial properties and oatmeal is wonderful for exfoliation.
Ingredients:
1/2 avocado
1/4 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions:
1. Mash all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
2. Spread the concoction all over your face, being particularly careful around your eyes. Let sit for 20 minutes.
3. Rinse with warm water.
This mask brightens your skin and is deeply moisturizing. May be used once per week.
